What is a badge?
Traditionally, a badge was a pin on your clothing that made visible a certain preference, line of thought or achievement. The latter often occurred in hierarchical organizational forms such as scouting or the army. With the introduction of Gamification (the use of game-typical techniques and elements in an environment without a game context), the digital badge, as we now use it, was introduced. The digital badge, like its traditional predecessor, is a confirmation of a certain achievement. This also applies to the badges awarded by Capgemini Academy. Our digital badges, which can be shared on LinkedIn and other social media, give participants of our training the opportunity to display their performance on these media.
How do you receive a badge?
After successfully completing a Capgemini Academy course to which a badge
is linked, you will automatically receive an email to award your badge. You can then decide for yourself in what ways you display or share this badge on your profiles.
