What is Statistics in data driven organizations
Statistics is the science concerned with collecting, summarizing, analysing, interpreting and presenting numerical data to gain insight into phenomena.
During the statistics training you learn to convert large amounts of data into information.
You will learn how to gain insight into the distribution of your data.
We start from a research question and then go step by step through the process in order to finally be able to answer the research question.
You will be introduced to various statistical concepts such as mean, median, mode and standard deviation. In addition, we look at a number of methods for taking a sample and we investigate which techniques we can use to answer different types of research questions.
During the training, the application of what you learn is central and you are challenged to work with the theory in practical cases.
