What is SAFe® for Teams (SP)
SAFe, the Scaled Agile Framework, is the leading framework for Business Agility. In the training SAFe for Teams you learn Scrum, XP, Lean practices, aimed at the Essential level of SAFe. In addition to general SAFe, Lean and Agile knowledge, we will look at the roles and responsibilities within the teams, managing backlogs, running sprints in SAFe, technical practices and plan a program Increment (PI).

Who should attend SAFe® for Teams (SP)
This training is aimed at anyone who is involved in an Agile Release Train, notably software developers, testers, product owners and Scrum masters.
This course is the official SAFe course and is delivered by certified trainers. The SAFe Practitioner (SP) certification exam is included in the course. The cost of the exam is part of the course price. You will take this online exam at a time and place of your own choice, but within 30 days of the course. In the Scaled Agile online learning environment, you will have access to an e-learning prior to attending the course and to the digital workbook that accompanies the course. You can also use this environment to take a practice test (mock exam). If this is your first SAFe training, a one-year membership to SAFe Studio is included. Through SAFe Studio, you have access to e-learnings, videos, discussion forums, toolkits and templates. We always use the latest training materials from Scaled Agile.
Prerequisites
Everyone is welcome at this course, but some affinity with systems development is helpful.

- Your role on the team and your team’s role on the ART
- How to apply SAFe principles to scale Lean-Agile delivery
- How to plan and execute iterations and PIs
- How to continuously improve the ART
SAFe for Teams answers the questions:
- How does an Agile team function inside of an ART?
- How do we as an Agile team plan and execute iterations and the PI?
- How do we work with other teams on the ART to effectively deliver value?
