What is Rust Fundamentals
In this training you get an introduction to Rust programming language and it’s syntax.
You will learn to understand Rust ownership and borrowing concepts. Other subjects covered in the training are:
- Basic data types, variables and control structures
- Functions, closures and modules in Rust
- Structs and enums in Rust
- Traits and generics in Rust
- Understanding Rust error handling and panics
- Concurrency and parallelism in Rust
- Rust standard library and its core functionalities

Who should attend Rust Fundamentals
This training is suitable for software developers.
For this training you need a laptop with sufficient rights to install software.
Prerequisites
Programming experience in another language
During this training you need a laptop on which you can install software: The latest Rust Toolchain and an IDE, preferably Intellij.
Objectives
After this training you have an understanding of the fundamentals of the Rust programming language.
You learn Rust ownership and borrowing concepts and you develop skills in programming in Rust.
