What is Programming fundamentals with JavaScript
Contents
– Learning the fundamentals of programming is something independent of language syntax. A lot of concepts are shared over a lot of different programming languages, and therefore knowing these programming fundamentals in one language will give you a head start in mastering others. In this course, we will discuss these transcending fundamental concepts and apply them via JavaScript. A scripting language that enables you to create dynamic websites, which makes it one of the three core languages we use on the web. This course will enable beginning (web) developers to digest and write code themselves, via the following subjects:
– Introduction to JavaScript and explanation about variables, data types, operators, and the console.
– Theoretical explanation and hands-on assignments on conditions, loops, and regular expressions
– Theory on scoping and working with functions and the Math library
– Learning about arrays accompanied by several assignments
– Getting acquainted with objects via theory and assignments
– After this training, you will be able to breathe life into your websites by implementing logic to your projects. From reusable functions to looping over arrays, after this course you will be ready to make your pages dynamic!
Who should attend Programming fundamentals with JavaScript
Beginning (web) developers who want to learn the basic concepts of programming, or already know these concepts but want to experience it via client-side powered JavaScript.
Prerequisites
During this training you need a laptop with access to internet on which installation of software is allowed, namely: IDE (preferably Visual Studio Code). Also, some basic knowledge of HTML and CSS will be helpful in digesting some concepts but is not mandatory.
