What is Lean Green Belt
Contents
– During this Lean Green Belt training you will learn the theory and practice it during exercises to solve problems in a structural manner. In general, we tent to solve problems quickly, but we do not check if the problem is really solved. This firefighting results in a quick restart of the process, but the problem often returns.
– This Lean Green Belt training teaches to solve a problem in a structured manner, with the aid of the subject matter expert from the process, by improving the process behind. besides the use of the tools the human side will be addressed too. Change management is one of the most important skills
– if you want to improve and you want the improvement to stay. People like to change but don’t want to be changed.
– You start the training with a kick-off of one hour, then you need to do the e-learning (approximately 16 hours). During the training days, you will learn how to solve problems, make processes more efficient and more effective, so you can do more work with the same amount of people without working harder, but smarter instead.
Who should attend Lean Green Belt
The Leen Green Belt training is suitable for:
- Starters at the beginning of their career,
- Anybody working in a Lean organization or in a Lean project or is going to participate in a Lean project,
- Anybody who want to execute a Lean improvement project in a structural manner,
- Participants that want to continue to the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training,
- Anybody who wants to learn about the Lean principles and the most important tools that accompany them.
Prerequisites
No prerequisites needed to participate on this training. You do need to bring a laptop with Microsoft Excel installed.
Objectives
After this training and acquiring your Internationally accredit LSSA-certificate by passing the exam, you as Lean Green Belt can lead improvement projects that will result in process improvements.
The participant has knowledge on these topics:
- Lean terminology,
- Lean improvement tools Waste, Flow, Pull en Value stream analyse
- How to solve a problem or improve a process in a structured way,
- The different Lean improvement tools, when and how to use them,
- How to make a process more stable by eliminating waste, resulting in shorter lead time and the ability to lower stock levels.

Exam Information:
This training includes a voucher for the official, internationally recognized exam.
The costs of the exam voucher are included in the price of the training. Shortly after the start of the training you will receive a voucher with which you can reserve your exam.
Bear in mind that you must plan your exam at least 5 working days in advance.
