What is ETL – Extract, Transform, Load
ETL stands for Extract, Transform and Load. This training will help you gain insights into these processes, which extract your data from an external source, transform it to a manageable size and load it into a data warehouse.
After this training, the participants will be able to:
The identify logical steps in an ETL process and describe
- Develop an approach to ETL and loading source Identifiable Information in a data warehouse
- Modeling the ETL process and document
- To deal with management aspects of ETL
- Implementation Strategies for slowly changing dimensions, dimensions that change slowly over time, instead of the planned changes.
In addition, the participant learns to make the choice around error handling, and performance tuning and apply it in his or her practice area.
