What is Open Agile Architecture O-AA™
Open Agile Architecture is the standard from The Open Group for setting up Agile Architecture. It contains a collection of methods and techniques for working with architecture in a (scaled) Agile environment. Open Agile Architecture supports the digital transformation of organizations and provides a common language for (enterprise) architects and agilists, including developers, testers, scrum masters and managers.
Open Agile Architecture is based on the principle that agile and digitization go hand in hand. O-AA discusses the axes function, perspective, level and time. O-AA is an addition to SAFe and LESS, with an emphasis on the way in which the organization and associated (enterprise) architecture is set up. O-AA gives further depth to concepts from SAFe, such as intentional and emerging architecture.
