What is UML Fundamentals
This introductory course is suitable for anyone who must deal on a daily basis with object-oriented programming languages (like JAVA or C#) or who has to deal with UML in other situations like for example via Class models, State Machine diagrams or Activity diagrams. You will learn to create different simple UML diagrams and to understand complex diagrams.
At the end of this training you will be able to:
- Describe object-oriented (OO) concepts and apply them in simple situations
- Understand the importance of this universal modelling language and to apply a number of UML models in simple situations.
- Understand more complex UML diagrams.
This makes you a good discussion partner for designers, developers and administrators who work in an object-oriented environment.
Who should attend UML Fundamentals
You want to be able to use the UML notation in your work. Before attending the training it is not necessary to have knowledge of object oriented system development and it is required that you have some affinity with ICT.
You work for example in a role as:
- Project leader

- System Administrator
Prerequisites
To follow this training it is not necessary to have knowledge of object-oriented system development, however it is desirable that the participant has some affinity with the IT.
During this training you need a laptop with access to internet.
