What is PM² Foundation

– PM² as project management methodology is currently at version 3.01 and defines a clear and bespoke governance structure, has a phased approach and a very valuable and helpful set of supporting document templates for running projects. In its basis PM² is ‘founded’ on established best practices approaches to project management but other than most also addresses the challenge of not only deliver project results but also the benefits.
Who should attend PM² Foundation
This training is intended for everyone that is involved in projects undertaken in an European or public sector context using PM² both from the Business (user) or Solution Providers perspective.
This training helps contractors, independent professionals and service suppliers to public sector organisations using PM² to prepare for their role.
Prerequisites
Prior knowledge and/or experience in projects and/or projectmanagement at a basic level is preferred as the training focuses on the particularities of PM² more than offering a basic Project Management training.
Objectives
This course introduces key Project Management concepts in the context of the PM² Methodology.
It enables participants to:
- Obtain the foundation knowledge necessary for using effectively the PM² Project Management Methodology
- Understand the full PM² project life cycle, organization, roles & responsibilities
- Understand the PM² Mindsets
- Familiarise themselves with the key PM² Artefacts for initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing projects
- Prepare for the PM² Certification exam
- Understand the implementation of core project management processes
- Understand key project management tools and techniques

Exam Information:
This training includes a voucher for the official, internationally recognized exam.
The costs of the exam voucher are included in the price of the training. Shortly after the start of the training you will receive a voucher with which you can reserve your exam.
Bear in mind that you must plan your exam at least 5 working days in advance.
